Job Title: Support Manager / Junior Project Manager / Administrator, Permanent position.

Overall Objective of Job:

  • Management of the Application Management Centre

The Application Management Centre is responsible for all ongoing support, enhancements and modifications around products and solutions developed for clients by Oakwell for SA and UK clients.

This includes taking ownership of new products and solutions developed by silverminute/Oakwell and delivering on the warrantee of them and transitioning the new product or solution into an Application Management focused environment where it can be pro-actively supported and enhanced in line with client needs and technology changes.



Main Responsibilities / Tasks:

  • Project Administration for the Project Office;
  • Project Management for small projects;
  • Account Management for Support clients with SLA?s;
  • Management and growth of the Application Management Centre (AMC) to meet SLA?s and deliverables;
  • Weekly support report packs to be sent to clients and discussed where applicable;
  • International clients (primarily SA and UK);

Knowledge & Skills:

Desirable Qualifications:

  • MS Office, especially MS Project
  • Knowledge of CMMI or TMMI or ITIL is key;
  • Exposure to Agile development a plus;
  • Ability to establish a support team from scratch (with tools);
  • Proven track record on delivery of projects;
  • Business skills;
  • Budgeting;
  • Good documentation skills;
  • Relevant experience in financial service industry will be advantageous; Energetic;
  • Energetic;
  • Must have team lead experience and use initiative to resolve issues;
  • Excellent communication (written and spoken), professional and have interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
